Mia and her siblings are quite the rambunctious, crazy pups! One of the craziest litters I've ever raised. At 2 weeks of age I found them in mommy Weyekin's food bowl gumming at kibble (despite having no teeth... and their appetite has only improved since then!). By 5 weeks of age they'd figured out how to climb up on top of doghouses. At 8 weeks of age they dug a hole and escaped their puppy pen. Now almost full grown, they keep me on my toes constantly!

The only other time I've had a litter this wild and crazy was the McKinley x Odie litter (Hank, Sully, Quinn, etc), and those guys sure ran like little demons from the start and are incredible sleddogs. Sure enough, Mia and her siblings ran amazing from the first time they were hooked up. They are taking a break this winter from running while I concentrate on the race team but come spring their harness training will start up in earnest again. I'm sure all 3 of these crazy pups will be some of my best race dogs in years to come!
