Blizzard Run's Sibersong Kadee SD - "Kadee"

Some dogs change your world as you know it from the moment they walk into your lives. 
And as such, those dogs leave a giant hole in your heart when they leave it.

Dear beloved, sweet, wonderful Kadee, you were one of those special souls.

You were a loving wonderful mother who still protected her kids even after they were full grown. Thank you for producing such a wonderful line of dogs that populate my kennel and the lives of others for many years to come.

You were one of the sweetest, kindest siberians I have ever met. You loved everyone, and everyone loved you. You even loved cats although you hadn’t grown up with them. From the time you were a baby, people were trying to buy you from me. Uncle Dan tried constantly to steal you from me until you finally produced a “mini-me” for him to have as his own. But you still remained one of his all-time favorites, as you were to my entire family.



You were a leader like no other. You were incredibly smart in lead, and focused. You showed me what a true, talented leader can do and I trusted you explicitly. In fact there were times I should have trusted you more out there. You trained many other leaders for both my kennel and others. Oh, the many many adventures we had together! Can-Am 250, Beargrease, so many others with you leading the way. That is how I want to remember you - in your glory, doing what you love.



You became a wonderful off-lead hiking and walking companion as you listened and obeyed so very well. You loved to go visit Grandma’s house and get spoiled rotten by the family there. You were perfect with kids, with babies, with older people. You instinctively sensed when to be gentle, what a person needed from you.



You bravely fought the fight with cancer 5 years ago and won, and I feel so lucky to have those extra years with you. But it will never be enough.



Your loss is like a big gaping wound from which I’m not sure how to recover. I only hope that your soul finds me again. 

Until then….. I love you to the moon and beyond my sweet Kadee girl.
